We all need a little good news right now… Did you notice something subtle in the Kroger ad that starts 3/18/2020, it will have a big impact on the way we shop a Kroger Mega Sale.
Starting on 3/18/2020 Kroger Mega Sale policy will change. In the past, you had to buy Mega Sale items in certain increments. For instance, Buy 5, Save $5 Mega Event would mean you would have to buy 5, 10, 15 items in order to receive the $1 savings on each item.
NOW the Mega Event states “Buy 5 OR MORE, Save $1 Each!”. This means, you will need to purchase the first 5 items, but any mega item after the 5 will also be discounted by $1. So you could buy 6, 7 or 10 and save $1 on each Mega Event item.
I’m super excited! This means, no more counting items in your cart as you shop (using the bag trick I shared here in my Kroger shopping tips). Also, I know a lot of people have been leery to use Kroger Grocery Pickup because of being afraid that if a Mega item is not available they will lose the discount. Now, as long as you have more than the 5 (or whatever the number starts at for that Mega Event) you will get the $ off!
