HOT Deal THIS Weekend!
Makes this one, Zia, just under $10 shipped!
Floral skirts are a hot new fashion trend. So when Cents of Style asked me if I wanted to try one, I jumped at the chance. Once again these style gurus are pushing me out of my graphic tee and jeans comfort zone. It worked with the swing dress so why not try this too. And being frugal minded, I wanted to see if I could come up with a way to make this fab wardrobe piece last more than just one season.
Fashion Friday – Floral Skirts for $19.95!
How to Style a Floral Skirt for All 4 Seasons!
Since floral skirts are all the rage right now, it’s no surprise that Cents of Style has a curated a great collection of feminine, flirty, and comfy floral skirts for everyone! Most of these skirts are made from a material that I would call a lightweight neoprene- so it has just the right amount of stretch and comfort (For those wondering, these do fit snug, so if you are in between on the sizes, I would go up one.)
I chose the navy blue “Zia”. It had one of the shorter hem lengths which works out perfectly for my short legs. The skirt just skims my knees for a flattering- and trendy hemline. This skirt is sooo versatile. And right now you can get a deal too! Fashion Friday- 4/06/18-The Power of Flowers! Floral Skirts Starting at $10.00 with NOTHING over $20.00 + FREE SHIPPING w/code FLORALFF
Check out these 4 outfits, one for each season, made from one floral skirt and other items already in my closet!
Floral Skirt in the Spring
Spring is up next on the calendar so I started there. And I knew I had just the right shirt to go with the skirt. The new classic side split tunic tee, yep Cents of Style too, is just the right shade to complement this navy blue skirt. I went casual with the Chucks and added a lightweight cardi layer, because well we know Ohio in the spring can be unpredictable. You may have also spotted a rose gold tribe necklace too.
Floral Skirt Outfit for Summer
What says summer more than a white t-shirt! Add some simple hoop earrings and a pair of sandals to this floral skirt and you are ready for a summer cookout or walk along the beach. Even better would be a plain white tank top (but it’s still a little chilly here for outdoor pics in a tank top!)
Fall in a Floral Skirt
When I chose this navy blue floral skirt, I knew right away I wanted to try to pair it with a denim shirt. I happened to have this chambray top that has just a hint of a pattern on it. Mixing patterns is totally out of my comfort zone- but I think it works! Another great match are ankle booties and pencil skirts! The brown Sketchers wedge booties are my new fave shoes so they had to make the cut. (also catch my sweet In a Nutshell acorn necklace, perfect for a Fall look)
Wear a Floral Skirt in Winter
Winter in Ohio can be downright dreary. So I knew I wanted to bring out that pop of pink from the skirt. Hard to have the winter blues in this bring pink sweater and floral skirt. I think I am going to buy some navy tights too- gotta love the tights and riding boots look. I will be wearing this outfit to church on Sunday- it just makes me smile!
