Amazon Prime Day Triggers Other Online Sales Events
By now you have probably heard that Amazon Prime Day is Oct 13-14. Instead of canceling this “day” of great deals back in July- they just postponed it until now! And of course, other retailers don’t want to miss out on the opportunity to compete for that pre-holiday spending. Both Walmart and Target have scheduled rival events for Amazon Prime Day.
Walmart Big Save Event
Walmart will be holding a “Big Save” online event from Oct. 11-15. They are boasting Black Friday-like savings on thousands of items and Free two-day shipping on some orders over $35. There may also be some items eligible for free Next Day deliver or in-store pickup.

Target Deal Days Event
Target will hold a “Deal Days” event on the Amazon Prime Days of Oct. 13-14. This online event will feature tons of deals in many categories. Target will be offering contactless drive-up and order pickup on many deals, and some deals will even be eligible for same-day delivery via Shipt. Target also announced that they will start other online pricing on Oct 5.
