Placing blame is a fun little “game” that most kiddos play, and I am sure you heard enough of it over the summer months. Well, I’ll add one too! “it’s all summer’s fault”! That’s right, there was too much of sleeping in, entertaining kiddos and vacationing going on this summer- and I flat just didn’t want to fit in any exercising. And when I did try, like when a friend and I tried to have our 6 kids play on the playground while we walked- that was a joke!
Well school started and order was restored to everyone’s routine. This means I have no more excuses. Time to get back on the fitness train. This also means time alone each day and the temptation to grab junk food instead of something healthy. Instead, I have been turning to my fave ZonePerfect bar- Perfectly Simple Oatmeal Chocolate Chip! Really- try them, they are soo good (and save by using coupons of course!)
When I first started the ZonePerfect challenge this year, they asked us to write a letter to ourselves. I went back to see what I wrote:

Ok so you were a slacker today. His glories are new each morning! And that means a fresh start. A new start to get in the word, get to the gym or eat a healthy meal. Now do it this time! 😉

Ha! Still what I need to hear today. So off to the rec center I go for Zumba Class (I traded in the pricey gym membership for a less expensive per class punch card at the local rec center). Now let’s give you a little motivation too. Enter to win this fun ZonePerfect prize pack!
