I have a new fave store- SOHO Fashion and Furniture Exchange (or SOHO FX). You may remember me talking about this Columbus consignment store in my Fab Fall outfit post or when I first told you about SpotOn. But I wanted to give you a closer look at this hidden gem (located on Sawmill Rd and Hard Road conveniently located in the Once Upon a Child shopping center).
SOHO FX is filled with upscale designer clothing, shoes, accessories and more. All in great condition and at pretty prices. Buy Nordstrom fashion at a fraction of the cost! And don’t let me forget the bags! All your fave high end purses- Gucci, Dooney & Bourke, Coach, Louis Vuitton & more- at frugal splurge prices (not cheap, but much, much lower than retail if you want a fun little splurge).
And remember, don’t just be a shopper, be a consigner too! Earn cash toward your purchase! They run a 50/50 split or 60/40 in store credit option. Here is an a easy scenario to visualize your earnings:
- Your Jacket sells for $20
- You get $10 cash
- Or $12 to use as in store credit!
I have taken my clothes to other resale shops, you know the kind that give you cash on the spot, and you barely get 30-40%. Sure since SOHO is a traditional consignment store, you have to wait for your item to sell to get paid. But you know patience pays off!
And finally let me tell you about the staff- they are awesome! Nick (pictured above who co-owns the store with his mom) and saleswoman Sandra are so personable! Last time I was in they totally helped me pick out a great look (catch it tomorrow morning on NBC4). They know their fashion and will help you look like you do too!
Oh and they have furniture too…
So have you shopped at SOHO? You should at least check it out, I think you will be hooked! I am! And once you do go in, be sure to send them some love on Facebook (tell them Mission: to Save sent you! 😉 )
SOHO has provided me with a few items for putting my best foot forward on air and public appearances. But all opinions in the post are 100% mine. I am honestly a customer consigner and all around fan of SOHO. Read my Disclosure Policy.
