Smart is the New Cool for Tween Girls in Netflix Series “Project MC2” #StreamTeam

We have finished the first 2 weeks of school and are finally getting back into the swing of our schedule.  Homework, sports, piano are all taking priority in our schedule.  Another thing that is back in the routine is our “screen time” schedule.  During the school year, we limit screen time to the weekends.  This lets the kids know not to even ask during the week- they know the answer! 😉 It also gives them something to look forward to on the weekend.

The summer was a bit of a free for all when it came to watching TV.  And really it should be. 😉 Let kids be kids right?!  My daughter in particular loves to binge watch series on Netflix (just like her parents, here are our faves).  She got really into a tween show in particular, and while it wasn’t a “bad” show- it wasn’t really didn’t have much substance.  So I was really excited to hear about the new show called Project MC2. Super smart girls use science and technology to become secret agents and team up with undercover spy McKeyla.  These girls show that #SmartIsTheNewCool and save the day too! Naomi LOVES this show.  And I love how it’s encouraging her to think about more than just cute outfits and impressing boys (way too young to worry about those things!)
