How To Save On Meat Purchases?

One question I often hear is “how can I save on meat purchases”?  My typical answer is to look for manager’s special markdowns or that because you are saving by using coupons- you can apply that savings to your meat purchases.   But recently I was introduced to another way to save on meat and it’s a “fresher” option.

Have you heard of Zaycon Fresh? Zaycon sells fresh, all natural meat, in bulk directly from the farm.  That means you are going to get a great fresh (not manager’s special sitting on the shelf too long) meat at a great price.  I was surprised to see boneless, skinless chicken breasts for $1.89 a pound.  That is right near my stock up price anyway!  And how about 80/20 ground beef for $2.99 a lb! Awesome!

Buy Meat in Bulk to Save- Get It Fresh Too!

There is a small “catch”.  In order to receive your meat as fresh as possible, you will be picking up your order at a location near your home (right out of the back of the truck from the farm!). And the meat will be in bulk (40 lbs for the chicken), so you will need to be able to freeze some or split the order with a friend.
