It’s time to show those teacher’s in your life how much you appreciate what they do. Of course, your mind may go straight to your kiddo’s classroom teachers. But what about other teachers in their life? It’s a perfect time to show appreciation to Sunday School teachers and church youth leader’s too.
My kiddos all attended a Christian preschool. I took that opportunity to make their appreciation gift have a biblical tie in. I made these Thankful Tumblers and put a tag on them that said…
Back then I didn’t know how popular these teacher gift tags would be, so I did not save the tag I made. I recently decided to recreate those printable tags with that same phrase and put them in a PDF format. Now you all can use it too! (Print the tags, 4 to a page- here!) It’s a simple, yet cute way to show the faith-based teachers in your child’s life that you appreciate them. Not only for teaching your kids- but more importantly, for WHAT they are teaching them.
You will need the following supplies:
- Acrylic Tumbler (I love these that also have bible verses on them)
- Flavored water enhancer
- Printable gift tag
- Gift card (optional)
- Tissue paper (optional)
- Ribbon (optional)
Fill your tumbler with the water enhancer, tissue paper and possibly a gift card too. You can attach the gift card with some ribbon. Or, cut two horizontal slits on the side of the card. Then you can slide the straw thru (like a little gift tag flag! ;))
There is a wonderful couple at our church that teaches the 1st/2nd grade Sunday School class (as well as volunteering in many other ways at the church). The twins adore them and can’t wait to give them this small token of appreciation. Who in your child’s life deserves this gift?
