The Nutcracker holds a dear place in my heart (I danced a few years in BalletMet productions as a kiddo right here in Cbus). So I was a bit worried how Disney would handle my beloved ballet. But it is WONDERFUL! The Disney twists (which I believe follow the book more than the ballet) are perfect. And you will fall in love with this Nutcracker soldier for sure!
And the ballet part was not forgotten, with the superb dancing of Misty Copeland as well.
