Big Lots Buzz Club is now call BIG Rewards (as of Jan 2018) See more about the new program updates HERE!
Calling all Big Lots shoppers. Starting October 1st- the Big Lots Buzz Club Rewards program is changing- for the better! The best change I see is there is no more minimum purchase required, all purchases will now count toward reaching your next discount offer.
Here are the changes you will notice when the new Buzz Club Rewards® program launches on 10/1/2013:
- More offers, more often.
- Receipt look-up within 30 days of a purchase, regardless of the form of payment, so you never worry about finding a lost receipt (Not available in CA, MA or NJ).
- The ability to login to biglots.com/rewards and see offers just for you!
- No minimum purchase required; a $20 minimum is no longer required for a purchase to qualify–every purchase counts toward the next offer or discount.
And you’ll still get all of these great Buzz Club Rewards benefits:
- Special offers available to members only.
- Advance notice of select new closeouts & buyouts.
- 2-Day advantage so you are the first to know when your print ad is online.
- Exclusive access to VIP shopping events.
If you are already a member, just keep on using your current card- you will be automatically changed over to the new program. Not a member yet? Join the Big Lots Buzz Club here and get in on the savings!
And don’t forget I post the Big Lots Weekly Matchups too. See what’s on sale each week. And while Big Lots doesn’t take coupons, you can use some of the grocery rebate apps at Big Lots, so look for those extra savings on the Big Lots Matchups list.

I was getting email notices when there was discount coupons and days when there was a 20% off entire purchases. Also, I was sent through email the circulars with the sales item. About 5 months or more ago they just stopped. Has Big Lots stop doing that? I really miss it. I have been a Buzz Club member for years.

Pat- I still receive the notifications for things like 20% off weekends. You might want to check to see if you still have email notifications enabled on your account. I do not work for Big Lots, so you will need to go to their site and log in to update or try and contact customer service. Thanks!

I have been going to the Big Lots near my home for over 15 years and I want Big Lots upper Management to know that they are one of the best stores relative to customer service I have ever experienced. Every clerk is friendly and helpful and in particular the Manager, Teresa. She is always happy and smiling even when she is dealing with a rude customer! I love this store and wanted to share my opinion with you. The store I am referring to is located at 11145 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Please feel free to contact me by e-mail if you would like further comments from me.
Thank You! P.S. Clemmons

I just wanted to tell you how much i appreciate your mgmt. at the Hazard Ky. BIG LOTS. My mother passed away this past Monday, April 7th 2014. She had a sectional on layaway & was planing to pay it out this week. She had paid almost half of the total amount owed. We needed help with her funeral expenses . Mr. Pence & Mr. Fields were very helpful & so kind in giving us a refund on the layaway. Again Thank you so much.

To those complaining about the inability to look up reward points, there are NO MORE reward points based on how much you spend. They occasionally email you the $5/$15 coupon. That’s the “big” improvement.

Phylis-
Thanks for sharing your opinion. I actually don’t work at Big Lots. I would suggest you share your concerns with corporate. You can contact Big Lots Customer Care by calling 1-866-BIGLOTS (1-866-244-5687) or emailing [email protected].
What I like about the new program is that it isn’t based on how many purchases you make. Honestly I hardly ever hit the rewards on the other system.
phylis tarbox says
Yeah, you were paid to shill for Big Lot’s Buzz Club. What use to be 20% off after 10 purchases of st least $20, has now turned into occasional coupons for $5 off a $20 purchase or $15 off of a $60 purchase. Whoopied do. At least they still have Friends & Family weekends occasionally, when you see the store packed with people buying $100s in merchandise and truckloads of furniture at 20% off. Big deal, they can look up my receipt. The changes are a big FAIL and have led me to avoid Big Lots. There sales circulars are a waste of paper and ink, as the “sale” price is the regular in store price. Some genius at there headquarters thought up this mess, which is way less than what it was and is absolutely NO improvement.

I find it easier to get into the internet to get my rewards at the office, I have not gotten any rewards since you made changes sometime back. Is it possible to have a second e-mail address ([email protected]) so that I can have access to my rewards. Many times, my internet does not work so well at home.
I do look forward to my rewards to buy extras when I shop at Big Lots.
Thank you.

Irene, sorry to hear that. Did you give them your Reward card when checking out? If so, the best thing to do is either take your receipt back to the store next time and ask for the rewards/discount. Or try calling customer service ( although with it being Christmas Eve, you might have to wait til after the holiday)

I went to Big Lots today and did not recive my buzz card rewards and my percentage off the items I purchased. I paid a total of $64.88 without the percentage off items (ie: Christmas clearance items) How can I get my percentage refunded.,.
