Fall means all things Buckeye in Ohio, but it doesn’t have to brea the budget. Check out a few of these Bargain Buckeyes that I found to get you in the Ohio State spirit! And I’m not just talking tailgating.
Buckeye Field Trips
These two field trips not only give you a taste, but the spirit of Columbus. And for FREE (or really cheap).
Anthony Thomas Factory Tour: For just $1 for kids and $2 for adults, you can tour the tasty Anthony Factory right here in Columbus. See how all those sweets are made. And at the end, the cost admission goes toward buying some of those sweets. Plus you’ll get a Free Buckeye candy too.
Ohio State University Marching Band Skull Session: No tickets to the game? You can still get into the spirit of game day by attending the Ohio State University Marching Band Skull Session. 2 hours and 20 minutes before the game, the marching band has a pep rally at St John’s arena. You’ll hear classics like “Across the Field” and “Hang on Sloopy” and will even hear from Coach Meyer and a player too. All for free!
Ohio State Gear
I know there is a TON of Buckeye paraphernalia out there. Here are two that have caught my eye recently, especially when watching your budget.
Ohio Allegiance Apparel: I love shopping local, but sometimes it can be pricey. Recently I found a new local apparel company on IG called Ohio Allegiance. I LOVE the fact that these tees are on point when it comes to trend… but even better is the price! Tees start at $12 and raglans start at $15! And shipping is fast too, 2-3 days! So if you order early in the week, you’ll showing your Ohio Allegiance on game day (I am totally getting that floral Ohio raglan!)
FanHeads OSU Buckeyes Helmet: Looking for a fun decoration for your tailgate? Checkout the new FanHeads Buckeyes Helmet. These helmets are made of a reinforced laminated material and are authentic replicas of the official Buckeyes helmet. And the price point is right too at just under $10. So use them for decoration and then throw it on to head over to the game! O-H… (You’ve even earned your own Buckeye leaf stickers!)
