Kids Eat Free

Again, if you have been around Mission to Save very long you know that Kids Eat Free programs are my favorite way to save at restaurants. Tuesdays are Kids Eat Free day at El Vaquero. Perfect for a weeknight family meal out. And with 8 items on the Kid’s Menu- there is something for every kid (Mexican or pizza!)  (Details– One free kid’s meal per adult entrée. Dine-in only.)

Happy Hour

If you are headed out for girls’ night out or maybe a date night- check out the El Vaquero Happy Hour deals.  Appetizers are half price from 2-4 pm and drink specials run from 4-8.

Seasonal and Daily Specials

El Vaquero doesn’t just celebrate Cinco de Mayo with special savings. You will find something to celebrate all year long, from St. Patrick’s Day, to Easter to Columbus Restaurant Week- El Vaquero always has something special to serve up (at a special price).  Check out their website for the current offerings.  Also each for daily specials on their menu like Tacos Al Pastor Special (on Monday & Tuesday) and $2.99 Margs on Margarita Mondays.

Coupons

Did you really think I would leave this one out?! YES, El Vaquero offers coupons! Whether you find them in the Valpak, Entertainment Book, or even local high school discount cards- there is always a coupon available to use. Typically these discounts are $5 off a $20 purchase or 10% off your bill (excludes tip, alcohol and some sale items).

Family Meal Packages

My family just discovered the new Family Meal packages at El Vaquero. These are especially handy for busy weeknight meals. Just a few weeks ago, I picked up the Enchilada Tray on a Monday afternoon. It was perfect to reheat on Tuesday night after our track meet. The portion was just right (even a little leftover for lunch the next day) and so was the price- around $9 per person (better food than a fast-food and at about the same price).
