

Nationwide Summer Movie Programs for Kids
AMC Classic– Kid-Friendly Movies plus a KidsPack every Wednesday for just $4 (+tax). Please note: this series is at participating AMC Classic theatres, see details here. (No Central Ohio locations)
CineMark Century Theaters – There are 2 different money-saving movie programs at CineMark. Pay $5 per person for 10 shows when you buy them in advance. Or if you buy your tickets at the show they are $1 each. Show days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, depending on location: see participating CineMark locations. (Note: some Rave Theaters are now owned by CineMark. Call your location for participation)
Cineplex (Canada) – Attend Saturday mornings at 11 a.m. for Cineplex Family Favourites. Watch a family fave film each week for only $2.99 at participating locations. See movie list here.
Classic Cinemas – Beginning June 5th, Wednesday Morning Movie Series. Each Wednesday morning at 10 am ticket prices are just $1. All movies are rated G or PG. See full list here.
Harkins Theater – There are 2 options: you can buy the season pass and it is less than $1 per movie and there are 10 movies in the season, OR buy tickets the day of the movie for $2 per ticket. Showtimes are at 9:45 am.
Regal Cinemas $1 Movies – All summer long you can see movies for just $1 a ticket for select PG movies! Showtimes are at 10 a.m. and a portion of proceeds goes to Will Rogers Institute. See locations and films.
Showcase Cinemas Bookworm Wednesdays (select locations) – Each Wednesday, kids can bring in a book report (unless you are six and under and then admission will be free) – which will cover the cost of admission! Program runs every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
Central Ohio Movie Program Offers:
Gateway Film Center (Columbus): Check out the From Book to Film Summer Adventure. In partnership with the Columbus Metropolitan Library, they’ll play a different movie inspired by a great book every week, all summer long (May 24 – Aug 15). And the best part? Admission is free with any library card. See the full lineup of movies here (some classics and some newbies). Their Hoot series (last Sat of the month with music from Shazzbots) is still running too. The Strand (Delaware, OH): Free Kids Movie Series on Tuesdays 11 am and 2:30 pm. Cost is just a donation for a specific charity each week. The Kids Summer Movie Series starts on June 4. See movies and charities here. (Please note- Monday times are for Daycare and SACC Programs with prior reservation)
Columbus Commons: There are 3 outdoor movies at the Columbus Commons this summer in May, July and July.

- Friday, July 19, 8:15 PM How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
