Simple Way to Display Holiday Cards- Greeting Card Garland

Looking for a super simple way to display all those beautiful holiday cards from family and friends? Go grab some finishing line and create this Greeting Card Garland!

We have a large window and a sliding glass door in our kitchen- so these are the perfect spot to hang the cards. Hubs tacked small finishing nails into the wooden casing (you could also use tacks or even just tape) on either side.  Then we tied fishing line to each end.  Last year I used a thin gold cord.  But I think I like the “invisibility” of the fishing line better and you can make the tension just right.

Obviously folded cards hang easily on the line.  For flat cards (like all those beautiful ones full of smiling faces!) just take a bit of tape and create a loop to hang on the line.
