Purex Crystals Freshens Laundry and Carpet! (Win 2 Free!)

Last Saturday I was multitasking (as usual) and doing a few loads of laundry while I cleaning up for a family birthday party. I keep the vacuum in the laundry room.  As I pulled it out, a bottle caught my eye. I recently received a bottle of Purex Crystals in the Fresh Mountain Breeze scent. I have used Purex Crystals before as a fabric softener (and hubs loves how it makes clothes smell). But I had another idea. If it can eliminate odor in clothes and make them smell fresher, how about on my carpet!

So I sprinkled a few crystals on the entry carpet, went away for a few min and then came back to sweep them up. Sure enough! Our guests were greeted by a fresh mountain breeze!  I love finding alternate uses for products!
