Check out this list of must-buy items to add you your Aldi Shopping list. It includes specific items to buy at Aldi and a list of popular product abbreviations.
Do you know longer consider yourself to be an Aldi newbie? (Still new to shopping at this frugal grocery store? See my tips for how to start shopping at Aldi) Now that you have tried shopping with sticking to a basic Aldi shopping list, it’s time to move on to trying some of those most popular Aldi items- the products that everyone raves about. Through asking many of my Mission To Save community members and being a member of several Aldi Facebook groups, I have come up with this list of over 30 must-buy products at Aldi.
Many of these products are “copy-cat” or “just like” a popular brand name. And honestly, there are some items that my family actually prefers over the brand name. And for the price; it’s why many of these items made it onto the must buy Aldi shopping list.
These go beyond the general categories (like produce or dairy) that I list in my what to buy at Aldi post and list more specific items. Please keep in mind, I have noted some with an * if they are seasonal products. That means you may not always be able to find this product in your store. And for some of these items, since they are so popular, stores may not be able to keep them in stock.

Bagels and cream cheese are always on my list. I also pick up a few packages of smoked salmon when it is in stock. Aldi single source coffee is another must have.
