Wanting to try a clothing subscription box but find the price not in your budget? Try this affordable alternative to Stitch Fix called Nadine West.
Are you like me? I see all the bloggers and influencers “unboxing” their Stitch Fix items. And while I like the idea of having clothing styled for me and sent right to my door- I get sticker shock every.single.time! $60 jeans! I would never pay that much. So I have avoided the clothing subscription box services. I’m just too frugal! UNTIL NOW!
If you are looking for an affordable alternative to Stitch Fix too- then check out Nadine West.
Just like other clothing subscriptions, you will start by completing a “style profile”. You will be asked for your sizes, fashion style, jewelry metal preference and even desired price range. Then the Nadine West stylists will get busy filling your pink bag envelope (not a box- I would assume to cut down on cost, which transfers to us!). Your bag will have from 5-11 items inside including a combination of pants, shirts, dresses, and accessories. They only upfront cost to you is $9.80 for the shipping (which will become a credit toward any items you decide to keep).
After you try on your pieces, you can decide to keep or send back (be sure to do this right away, they will charge for keeping items around 5 days after receiving). Returns are super easy too, just reuse the pink envelope with the return shipping label sent with your shipment. There will be an invoice included to tell you how much each item will cost if you decide to keep them. You will be happy to see that most of the prices are so much more budget-friendly: jewelry items starting at $9.99, shirts for around $25 and pants for $20.
Here are some of the prices on the items I received in my second Nadine West shipment (I was sent a complimentary bag from Nadine West for review purposes).
- Cold Shoulder Sweater- $24.49
- Thick, High Waist Leggings- $28.18
- Olive Strappy Top, $18.99
- Floral Blouse- $21.99
- Teardrop Silver Earrings- $14.99
- Slouch Hat- $7.99
As you can see from the pictures once again, I was sent many classic and on-trend pieces (11 items total!) As I mentioned before, with the more affordable prices you know you aren’t getting quite the quality that Stitch Fix might be offering. But to have someone else send me those new trendy pants or an in-season “destined to be my new fave” shirt, I think the quality is just fine (like Kohl’s or Maurices).

Nadine West is also great about creating opportunities to earn credit from contests and referrals. SO YES! You can save on your first order. Start your order here to get $10 off. That $10 covers your shipping, so if you try and decide not to keep anything, you’ve not paid anything either. So what’s to lose!?!
Now you can post your own “unboxing” pics and videos- but be able to take pride in knowing it didn’t bust the budget!
