The weather this summer seemed to start off a little on the mild side. We just turned on our AC for the first time- and it’s mid way through June. What a welcome change from the harsh winter we had here in the midwest. With such nice weather and the kiddos playing more outside with the neighborhood crew- Our front porch has been calling my name. So I thought, why not create a space to enjoy- bring back the front porch lifestyle!
Thanks to Big Lots and their awesome patio furniture and outdoor living products- we were able to do just that! But first, the decision on what to get! I have mentioned before that I tend to be an indecisive person. With great table, chair and set options at Big Lots, my head was spinning a bit. The twins found a few items to lobby for, like this zero gravity chair.
Those cushions on this set match the front of my house perfectly and are so comfy! Plus I love the classic wicker look- but sturdy resin construction. And speaking of construction, the coffee table (which opens for storage- clever!) did have to be assembled. (My little fix-it-Luke- was so excited to help daddy put it together). Now we are enjoying every part of the day on our porch! We love it so much, we are thinking of heading back to Big Lots to get more for the back porch too!

That porch set looks so nice, and I love the style of the cushions. Big Lots is one of my favorite stores to shop at – they’ve really expanded their selection of furniture and housewares over the years.
