What is one of the most time (and energy) consuming tasks for a mom? YES- the laundry! What if you could stop sorting laundry by color? Would it save you time? Maybe you could even turn over the laundry chore to a kiddo! Purex® wants to help simplify your laundry experience. They have come up with a new no sort laundry detergent- The Rules Have Changed! Brilliant. And not only will it save you time, but your sanity too. This is definitely #LaundrySimplified! OK, so the picture is hard to tell… but look at my 10 yr olds beloved “striped blankie”. There is a bit of a “pink” tint to it. Yeah, well when he was about 2 yrs old the striped blankie accidently got washed with the handmade quilt (made of red flannel). Poor guy has had a pink blankie ever since! LOL! The blankets were washed together after he had been sick. So you can imagine I could have used a sanity saver at that moment! The new breakthrough Anti-Color-Transfer Technology in Purex® No Sort™, traps loose dyes in the wash and does not let them settle onto other fabrics and helps prevent color bleeding.*
Then I got to thinking…If you don’t have to sort the colors…Maybe I could turn this task over to someone else. The owner of the “striped blankie” is now almost 11 years old (time flies)! And we have been looking to extend his chore responsibilities. With his younger siblings now earning commission (our “philosophy” instead of allowance)- they can take over some of his tasks and he can handle some more advanced chores. Why not try the laundry!
I do want to still teach him about the concept of sorting colors. Yes that brand new red t-shirt will probably turn a load of white undershirts pink (enter “pink” striped blankie as an object lesson). However, thanks to Purex® No Sort™- I can have him just sort into two piles: whites and the rest (gotta have him do a little work still). And also thanks to those fancy “dye transfer inhibitors”… even if he misses a few darks in with the whites, no worries!
And here’s another great thing- the price! We have a brand new Walmart Supercenter that just opened near my house. I was excited to see the new Purex® No Sort™ , in stock for just $3.97! This is a much lower price than other detergents (and they don’t even offer the no sort!)
So what do you think? Would this detergent simplify your laundry routine? Would you be willing to let a kiddo try this chore?

* Please note: Purex No Sort detergent is packed with innovation, but it can’t perform miracles, so please follow these words of advice: wash strongly colored fabrics or new pieces of clothing, especially jeans, separately at least 5 times before doing a mixed color load with Purex No Sort detergent

I think it’s great that your son is being taught how to do laundry! Too many men aren’t very skilled in that area. It’s great that there is a product that is geared toward no sorting, too. I have a guy in my life that would love this! #client
