Check out this new site- Schoola Online Consignment. It is much like ThredUp, second hand kids clothes sold at discount prices. And of course they have a great referral program. When you join here, you can get a $15 credit to (new user credit is now $10) spend on any purchase. Reader Bon shared in the Mission Savers FB group that you can also use the code 2015 to get another $5 off (not sure an exp on this one). AND for a limited time (thru 1/22) you can also get FREE shipping. So…. that means $20 worth of totally FREE clothes!
- Sign up HERE, get
$15$10 credit (you won’t really see any notification about the credit, it will just come off at checkout) Use code 2015 for $5 offSorry looks like this one is dead now, but the credit offer still stands!
Wondering if they have a sellers program too? Well sort of. Obviously they need people to send in the clothes, but instead of you getting the profit on the sales, Schoola sends that money to the school of your choice (see the reason for the name!). I think this is a fab fundraising idea. And now that ThredUp has gotten a little stingy with certain brands (no longer accepting The Children’s Place or Carter’s)- I will definitely be sending a bag to Schoola.
Oh and about the clothes. At first glance it looks like the items are just for kiddos. But, If you notice many in the High School girls category… are really just women’s (like you know Liz Claiborne and Clarks are not a Jrs brands 😉 ).
Check out Schoola and tell me what you think!
Thanks to Moola Saving Mom and reader Bon for details on this dealio.
