After multiple snow days and several inches of snow… I can safely say we are all ready for spring. So when yet another frigid day kept us inside, my little girlie was happy to check out a new series on Netflix- Ever After High. Their newest special episode (to start season 2) “Spring UnSprung” was perfect to bring us a little sweet spring time fun.
I honestly did not know much about Ever After High until watching this episode (mostly I just thought of the brand as being the anti-Monster High. 😉 ). The story line is especially fitting for tween girls- fairy tales with a next gen twist and full of self-esteem themes. Personally I really think the premise is clever- daughters and sons of famous fairy tale characters all finding their own way. (of course I could have done without some of the boyfriend/girlfriend drama, but it was fairly innocent for the age group). 
Welcome to Ever After High, a boarding school for teens destined to follow in their famous parents’ fairytale footsteps. Only this is high school, and that spells drama. Some, like Apple White, Daring Charming and Blondie Lockes, embrace their “happily ever afters,” while others, like Raven Queen and Cedar Wood, choose to rewrite their stories — which could change the fate of every one else at school.
And I was excited to receive a special Ever After High screening party kit from my friends at Netflix. Now we just need to invite over some friends for a “spell-tacular” time! Has your little girlie heard of Ever After High?!
