As the end of the year is upon us, it is time to clear out and reorganize your coupons. You may find that there are many you know you just wont use. Well I have a great way for you to “recycle” those unused coupons. I recently met a dear woman named Carol who helps runs an organization called Coupons 4 Food Pantries. Coupons 4 Food Pantries is a non-profit which collects unused coupons in order to purchase items for a food pantry at a discounted price. You all know that often a doubled coupon can make for free or extremely inexpensive items. By sending in your unused coupons you can help Coupons 4 Food Pantries make a difference. They have adopted the Centenary UMC pantry, which is located in the Linden area of Columbus, Ohio, as the beneficiary of the items they buy with these coupons.
You can send any of your unused, unexpired coupons to Coupons 4 Food Pantries, but here are a few highly coveted coupons:
- Tuna Helper or Hamburger Helper
- Canned Soup
- Canned or Pouched Tuna
- Canned Fruit
- Canned Vegetables
- Boxed Pasta Noodles
- Canned Pasta Sauce
- Canned Pasta
- Rice a Roni
- Baby Food
- Toiletries – Toothpaste, Soap etc
Ready to help out!? Please send your coupons, preferably cut, to:
