DIY Personalized House Picture, “As For Me And My House”- Great Gift!
Looking for a meaningful yet thrifty housewarming gift? Or maybe an anniversary gift? I made one of these for myself several years ago and love it so much, I have given it as a gift too. It is always a hit and a special way to honor your faith and family.
Supplies:
- 8×10 picture of recipients house (if you don’t have one, try googling the address or going to the Secretary of State web site.)
- piece of vellum paper
- printer (I love my HP Envy!)
- matting
- frame
Be sure to get a matting that will fit your frame and 8X10. My frame must have been a little smaller than usual, so I had to cut down the matting some. Create your phrase in black lettering to print on the vellum. I used PicMonkey so I could do a little more “editing”, but you can use Word or a similar document program.
Tip- be sure to use a little tape to hold the pic and velum in place on the back side of the matting.
Voila! A beautiful and meaningful DIY gift to grace the walls of your fave home.
Want to take it a step further…. How about a display like this:

I was wondering what the font is for the second half of Joshua 24:15? I’m trying to find the font for another sign I’m making and wanted the font to match. Thank you!

Kandace, It’s called “Quicksand”. And it’s from the tool PicMonkey that I mentioned in the post. Would love to see pics of your finished projects!
