DIY Hair Detangler Spray
My daughter inherited something that I do not have (although often wish I did)- curly hair! My hair is super straight and I must admit her hair “stumps” me sometimes. We have definitely bought our fair share of hair detangling spray. And while I usually stock up on a sale, I found a way to make a DIY Hair Detangler Spray for FREE!
Yes, I said Free! Basically all those sprays are is a leave in conditioner So, I used one of my Free bottles of conditioner (from using a coupon on a sale), an empty detangling spray bottle and some water. Voila- free hair detangler spray!

Here’s how to Make DIY Hair Detangler Spray:
- My bottle holds 10 oz. So I put 8 oz of water in a measuring cup and then added the conditioner in until it reached the 10 oz mark.
- Pour into the spray bottle and give it a good shakin! It’s ready to go! I also give it a shake before each use.
What do you think? Worth a try?

I do this with a 50/50 mix of conditioner and water and if I have some essential oils, I add a couple of drops. Works excellent for tangles and to spread out conditioner in long hair instead of concentrated amounts in just certain areas. And I leave conditioner applied this way in and don’t rinse it out.
