Shopping for kids clothes can be exhausting- on your time and your wallet. Kids on 45th wants to help you save time and money with their boxes of second hand, high-quality kids clothes.
So here’s how it works. First, you fill out a profile for your kiddo. This will help Kids on 45th pack your box with the right size and style. (Be sure to use code MISSIONTOSAVE when you sign up to get a $10 credit from me!)
Next, you can decide what type of pieces will be in your box– don’t need a dress right now, really need pants; tell them how many send. And you have the option of signing up for the quarterly subscription box. Or just buy them a box at a time.
Now your box gets filled by the Kids on 45th stylist. The value of your box will depend on the price of each item. A new with tags BUM Equipment hoodie is around $8 and pre-loved t-shirts are typically $3.50. You won’t see the actual items you are receiving- that’s part of the fun surprise.
Sometimes they do have new specialty items you can choose. For instance, snag a Princess Expressions 3 piece set in time for easy Halloween costumes (comes with magical headband, tutu, and wand for just $14.99)
Once your box arrives the suspense is over and you can unbox your goods. You will find very nice pre-loved items with a variety of brands, and even some new with tags. I think it’s kind of like second-hand StitchFix for children’s clothes.
If there is an item that doesn’t fit or doesn’t meet your quality standards, they do offer a “Happiness Guarantee” (more on that later.
Watch my daughter Naomi and I unbox her Kids on 45th goodies. 11 items with a box value of $70 shipped.
I wanted to clarify a few things I mentioned in the video. If an item doesn’t meet your quality or fit standards, they offer a Happiness Guarantee. They will either send a replacement item or give you a credit for the purchase price to your account. And what do you do with the items you don’t want- no need to pay for return shipping, they just ask you donate or pass on the item to someone else. Love that!
Also, first-time buyers can get a $10 credit if they use a referral code- so use MISSIONTOSAVE to get $10 off that first box. (and then share your own code with family and friends to earn credit too). I’d love to hear what you think about this new way to shop for your kids, so tag me (and Kids on 45th) in your unboxing posts!
