You all know I love to teach others how to use coupons to save more (so you can do more living and giving!). Now there is a new easy peasy way to save at the drug store. Walgreens has paperless coupons! I love using the Walgreens app to redeem and track my Balance Rewards points. And now the app contains these paperless coupons too!
As I was looking at the Walgreens matchups last week, I saw several promotions for sun care items. With a beach vacay coming up soon, I know I need to stock up on sun screen. So I headed over to the Walgreens app to see if there were any paperless coupons to match with the ad sales.
Bingo! In the app, I found a $2 off Coppertone Clearly Sheer sun care coupon (we tried this brand recently and think it’s great). This item also happens to be running a Register Rewards deal this week too. I just love being able to stack up the savings! Just so you know, most of these are manufacturers coupons (not store coupons) and can be used once per account. After you redeem the coupon, it disappears from the app. Also be on the lookout for the “in ad” coupons and Monthly Savings Booklet coupons- they can be paperless now too!
The paperless coupons in the app are super easy to use too. First be sure that your Balance Rewards account is synced to your app settings. Then “clip” (no scissors needed) the coupons. You can find them in the app and even more on the Walgreens website too.
Then when I get to the register, I pull up my Balance Rewards bar code- scan- save – DONE. Easy as that! Not only do I get the clip free coupons but it tracks my Balance Rewards points too. So I saved on my purchase- and I will be saving our skin from the sun too! 🙂
Do you shop at “Wags”? Did you know about the #WalgreensPaperless in App coupons? My weekly Walgreens matchups will now also indicate if there are Walgreens paperless coupons that can be used on items in the ad. Watch for them and save!

The Walgreens app makes it so easy for saving money! I love it! I no longer have to worry about leaving coupons at home when I go shopping!
