Buy That Christmas Clearance Candy
So you see that bag of red and green M&Ms or Hershey’s kisses in the clearance aisles… but you think they are all red and green….
Voila! Separate (I had the kiddos do it) the red and white ones for Valentine’s Day and the green ones for St. Patrick’s Day. Thinking ahead for sweet treats for upcoming holiday celebrations (that is if they last that long! 😉 )

Yup, done that before! I also scored packs of Wilton cookie icing at Meijer for 90% off yesterday- the three packs had a container of white, a container of red and a container of green. My 7yo decorated some cookies yesterday, then we’re going to save the rest of the icing for heart cut-out cookies for Valentine’s Day and green shamrocks for St. Patrick’s day. In the past I’ve picked up red and white sprinkles and sugars to save for my son’s birthday in early July (think July 4th!)
I also found some small fun toys for 90% off, to include in Easter baskets. Squishy balls, Hello Kitty bath / cosmetic items (no Christmasy stuff on it!), a foam glider toy and toy kids’ cameras, all at Target.
