Beach Cove Resort- Perfect Relaxing Family Vacation in North Myrtle Beach
This year marks the 3rd annual Myrtle Beach trip for our family. We really enjoyed our visits at Crown Reef and Captain’s Quarters– so the bar was set high for this year’s stay. And let me say, it did not disappoint. In fact, I’d say our time at the laid back and friendly Beach Cove Resort was the best yet!
Beach Cove Resort is actually a North Myrtle Beach resort (at the south end of North Myrtle). If you know anything about this South Carolina vacation destination, you know that North Myrtle has a more relaxing and laid back vibe. Hubs especially appreciated that. If you want to feel like you are getting away from the bustle of more “touristy” areas, yet are still close enough to take in a show or great buffet- Beach Cove is the perfect place for your family.
Another great thing about Beach Cove is that it really is for families- and big ones too. Whether you are a family of 5 like us staying in the Executive Suite, or coming with extended family in a 2-3 room condo, Beach Cove has a perfect place for you to call home for your trip. And speaking of feeling at home, the kitchen and washer certainly provide homey amenities.
Beach Cove (like several other Vacation Myrtle Beach properties) has recently undergone some renovations. Their new Town Center is a great spot to stop for some indoor arcade fun or a Grab n Go breakfast. If you want a little more for your morning meal- we recommend trying the breakfast buffet at the Tradewinds cafe. For $10 you get an all you can eat smorgasbord to get you fuel up for the day. Where else in Myrtle are you going to find that value- and without having to get in your car!
Last, I just can’t neglect to mention how amazing the staff is at Beach Cove. They are currently running a #HappyGuest campaign– and it shows. From the maintenance man who checked on a pipe under the sink, to the sweet housekeeping attendant, to the clerk we met in the elevator- ALL the staff were friendly, helpful and kind. That is a priceless!
I recently saw a friend ask on Facebook if anyone had recommendations for a place to stay in Myrtle Beach. I would have no concerns with wholeheartedly recommending them stay at Beach Cove Resort!
A big thank you to Beach Cove Resort and Vacation Myrtle Beach for hosting my family on this visit. We had a wonderful time and I am happy to report our experience. All opinions are my own.
