Yep… I’ve jumped on the Keto diet bandwagon. Since Nov of 2018 I have been doing Intermittent Fasting and not seen the drastic results some have. So I realized (no more denial), that I really can’t just eat whatever during my “feasting” period (that’s what my kids call it and unfortunately that’s what I was doing.)
Years ago (pre-kids) I saw great results with a low glycemic diet, so it made sense for me to check out the low carb Keto lifestyle. I would say I am Keto-ish for now (probably around 30 net carbs a day but not really monitoring) and I can already see the benefits.
However! I do miss my sweet carbs! I LOVE all the creative keto recipes that are out there; really helps me to stay on track.
