There’s nothing like grilling hamburgers in the summer. While there are many ways to make homemade hamburger recipes, I think there’s one key ingredient to make the best hamburger recipe ever!
1 Must Have Seasoning For the Best Hamburger Recipe
No matter what, whenever I’m making hamburger patties I always start with this one hamburger seasoning. And actually, it’s made to use with a different kind of beef. I use Montreal steak seasoning in all my hamburger recipes. The blend of course pepper, onion, garlic and other “spices” is perfect to compliment any burger recipe. So buy it in bulk and shake it in your next homemade burger!
You can certainly use this seasoning with “plain” burgers, just add it in with breadcrumbs and an egg. But are you looking for a little more oomph? Below is my go-to, and in my opinion, best burger recipe. It, of course, includes that special seasoning, but also a few extras too.
I have mentioned when I find low ground beef prices, I stock up! I will usually cook some in my crockpot for easy meal prep later, make some basic Italian meatballs and also make a round of these (bacon) cheeseburger patties.
- In a large bowl, combine all ingredients. Please note: all items amounts are "to taste", adjust seasoning to your liking.
- Hand press into 11-14 hamburger patties.
- Grill right away or freeze for later
