I wanted to introduce you to a newish (at least new to me) social media tool called Yummly. Basically, Yummly allows you to create an online recipe box for all your fave food.
You may say, but I already use Pinterest to find/save recipes. True, Pinterest is an awesome search tool for recipes. But I also find it to be a time-suck. I go in to find something for dinner and an hour later I am hot glueing some craft, hoping for no fail and dinner is still on the back burner.
Yummly is awesome because it’s only food! No distracting crafts or fashion. And you can organize your “yum”s into collections too. Everything from basic “Dinner” collections to making your own category for an upcoming event.
As you may have noticed, I recently added a new social sharing tool on Mission to Save. One of the buttons included is now a “Yum”! Just use one of the side/top button bars or the buttons right on a pic to add my recipe to your Yummly Recipe Box. (and then Pin it, and share it on Facebook too! 😉 )
So do you Yum? I would love to hear what you love about it. And be sure to see what Mission to Save posts have been Yummed!
