You may have heard me talk about cash back rebates sites before. You start your online shopping journey on their page, and then click over to your store of choice- make a purchase and receive a % of cash back. Of course we love the concept- money back in our pockets. But what if there was a site that now offered money back in the form of charitable donations too: Introducing Giving Assistant.
With Giving Assistant, not only will you average 5% cash back on your purchases but each time cash back is earned- a small donation will be given to Feeding America to provide a meal.
AND you can also set your own personal donation charity as well. There are some stores that do not offer cash back, like Amazon, but will offer a % to the charity of your choice. You can also change your settings so a portion of your overall cash back (none, some or all) can go to your charity.
If you are shopping online- make those purchases meaningful! You can only choose one cash back site per purchase, so choose the one that gives back- to your wallet and the greater good!
I also love that Giving Assistant not only offers cash back, but will also let you know if there are promotional codes to help you save even more. I have been looking for a battery charging case for my phone. So I noticed Giving Assistant gives 7.8% cash back for GearBest AND there was a 8% off code as well. So I saved on the purchase (and hopefully I will save on my battery charge as well!)
Also, Giving Assistant’s payout threshold is lower, just $5 and in a few weeks if you choose PayPal deposit. So you can get your cash- back sooner! I made that GearBest purchase this morning, the cash back credited to my account by the afternoon! Now, I’m on my way to my first payout.
AND of course, to make earning with Giving Assistant even better- they have a fab referral program. Use my referral link HERE (or any of the other links in this post) and we will both get $5 in FREE money after your first purchase. And unlike some referral programs, there is no limit to the amount of cash you can earn from referrals.
TELL ME- Do the charitable donations on Giving Assistant make you more likely to use it over other cash back sites? (Save More- Give More, I always say!)
