For the second year in a row (thanks to COVID pandemic), you have additional time to file your federal taxes. The Treasury Department and Internal Revenue Service announced that the federal income tax filing due date will be automatically extended from April 15, 2021 to May 17, 2021. Because of COVID restrictions and the later filing date… “Tax Day” is technically two dates this year. Soooo… that means that the deals we have seen in the past are a little tricky. I will keep the list updated as I see the offer details surface for 2021.

Boston Market Tax Day Deal– (not updated for 2021) From Wednesday, April 10 – Monday, April 15, any guest who dines in-restaurant can purchase a $10.40 Tax Day Meal Special, which includes a Half Chicken Individual Meal with two sides, cornbread and a regular fountain beverage (while supplies last) at 450+ locations nationwide. Additionally, now through Tax Day (Monday, April 15), guests can enjoy $10.40 off any catering order of $100 or more (to help keep our accounting departments and tax professionals well fed this season!).
Bruegger’s Bagels– (not updated for 2021) Get a Big Bagel Bundle (any 13 bagels and two tubs of cream cheese) for just $10.40 and get 20% off Catering Orders.
Cicis’ (not updated for 2021) Get an unlimited buffet for only $4.15 on April 15 with the purchase of a large drink. Customers must present coupon to redeem the deal.
California Tortilla– (not updated for 2021) On Tax Day, all customers can score free chips and queso by saying “1040” at checkout. (at participating locations in Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington D.C.)
Potbelly Sandwich Shop– (not updated for 2021) BOGO, buy-one-get-one free entrees, including subs, soups and salads. Just mention “Tax Day” to redeem the deal at checkout on April 15.
Hot Dog on A Stick– (not updated for 2021) Receive one FREE Turkey or Veggie Dog on Tues April 15.
Kona Ice– (not updated for 2021) Kona Ice will be parked at post offices, tax preparation centers and businesses nationwide to hand out free cups of tropical shaved ice and complimentary Hawaiian leis to all who stop by. You can find the Kona Ice truck in their community by tweeting their zip code to @KonaIce. Here is a sample tweet for readers to use: “Hey @KonaIce! Where can I find the Kona truck on #TaxDay? My zip code is _____.”
