Personal Finance… not a subject that sounds fun or even relatable. But nonetheless, one that many American’s struggle with on a daily basis.
For my husband and I, we made the decision to “get control” of our finances about a decade ago. We took an intensive course (Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University) and really started to see major changes in our budget and savings. We feel so strongly about that course, that we are facilitators for it to this day.
Now I will admit, such an intensive, long term course is not for everyone. But are you looking for practical advice on getting control of your spending? That’s why I am happy to recommend the new book The Recovering Spender by my blogging friend Lauren Greutman.
In The Recovering Spender, Lauren has authentically shared her personal journey toward a debt-free life. And in doing so, has given some real life, practical advice on how to accomplish it for yourself. She has made the topic of “personal finance” less intimidating, and more obtainable.
Check out this book today on Amazon or your local book retailer- and start the road to spending recovery!
I have the pleasure of knowing Lauran from the world of blogging and it’s my honor to be a part of the launch team for her latest book. All opinions are my own.
