Did you know that blogger follow other bloggers? Of course we do! Not only for support but inspiration too. As I started to post more DIY projects on Mission to Save, I would see a lot of bloggers talking about something called a Cricut. This wonderful, magical machine was so intriguing to me. Could it really cut, fold, draw and more. I mean, no more Pinterest fails for sure right?!
I was so excited when my very own Cricut Explore Air arrived (well actually my son may have been even more excited. He couldn’t wait to see it in action). And all the goodies that came with it- wow crafter heaven (thanks Cricut)! But honestly, I was a bit overwhelmed at first. What should I do for my first project? Vinyl or paper? How do I even use it!? Well thanks to the videos from Cricut.com, I was able to make my very first Cricut project. (I kept it simple with just cutting iron on letters).
So that first project success got me hooked. I could totally see how many home decor, DIY gifts and party special touches my Cricut Explore Air would be able to make. In fact, I moved right on from simple letters to creating some special Bridal Shower favors and Wedding Reception decorations for my niece (tutorials posts to come!). And now with teacher gift’s on my to-do list, I am sure my Cricut Explore Air will be put into action again.
Do you have a Cricut? What are your favorite projects?
