Hotel Breakers at Cedar Point has a wonderful 110 year history on the shores of Lake Erie in Sandusky. And thanks to a beautiful renovation in 2015, it is ready for many more years of family fun. My family has stayed at Hotel Breakers several times, and I can say the update is wonderful! Bright colors, contemporary features and more, bring this resort back to life! My family recently stayed the night at Hotel Breakers and you can see we felt right at home!
Not only are the rooms at Hotel Breakers spacious (we stayed in a suite, 2 queens in one room connected to a “living area” with pull out couch- perfect for our family of 5) but you just can’t beat walking right out the door to the park. And THIS has to be our favorite perk- Early Park Entry. Overnight guests can enter the park one hour before the general public. This means you will get a chance to snag a ride on all the most popular thrills before anyone else. We were able to ride GateKeeper twice and the awesome new Rougarou twice in this 1 hour bonus. We might have only gotten one of those rides in during that same time frame during regular admission. Rides featured in 2015:

And speaking of the newest addition (or really another renovation, from the old Mantis)- Rougarou doesn’t disappoint! The kids and I are serious coaster riders! 😉 And my oldest and I definitely give it two thumbs up (twins will have to wait till next summer to be tall enough- but it’s the first one they want to try once they reach 54 in!).
