No Added Sugar Homemade Granola with Almonds
This no added sugar homemade granola recipe has just the right amount of sweet and salty thanks to using unsweetened applesauce, almonds and sunflower seeds.

Ingredients

oats
quick or old fashioned

C
chopped alonds
1/4
C
sunflower seeds
1/2
C
shredded coconut
use unsweetened to keep this recipe no sugar added

ground cinnamon

oil

unsweetened applesauce

vanilla

salt
Optional Add-Ins:
1/2 pecans, 1/2 walnuts
ground flax seed
wheat germ
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 degrees
Line pan with parchment paper
Mix all ingredients together until well coated
Spread mixture evenly onto the lined baking pan
Bake for 40 min, or until lightly browned. May need to stir once or twice during baking to get even bake.
Let cool, then break apart and store in airtight container
