My favorite fair memory is taking my daughter Jaylin to the Big Time Rush concert last year and then watching the firewrks afterward. It would be amazing for the whole fam to get to go.
Going in high school with a few friends and playing games!
My favorite memory is from 1989-my first date with my husband-we saw Amy Grant in concert.
I don’t usually reply on the giveaways… But just had to on this one. LOVE IT! First date part and Amy Grant part! I saw her at Creation Fest in 89, I think it was her first summer of touring.
Only state fair I have ever been to was back when I was maybe 10 years old. I remember that my mom wouldn’t let us ride any of the rides because she said they weren’t safe. Naturally, all of us kids revolted and the trip was cut quite short, lol! I would love to take my daughter and let her ride EVERYTHING!
The big slide scares me every year, but is so much fun.
My favorite memory is the first time we took our boys to the farm. There is nothing like watching two little ones get excited about everything.
My favorite memory is going to the State Fair with my husband (then boyfriend) and it started to rain and him asked me if I’d ever been kissed in the rain and then he kissed me…..that was 32 years ago! We’ve gone to the fair almost every year for Schmidt’s cream puffs and Velvet Ice Cream!!
My first date with Bruce was almost 21 years ago at the Fair. Holding hands for the first time was pretty magical on the midway.
My favorite fair memory was the first fair I ever attended, which was as an adult! My husband, John, took me to my very first fair at the NC State Fair when we were just dating. Those of us who live in Central Ohio are very blessed to be able to attend the Ohio State Fair so close to our homes. I’ve enjoyed the Ohio State Fair many times in the 7 years we have lived here.
I have never taken my three daughters to the fair and would love to with a bonus concert!!
My favorite fair memory is every year when I was little my dad would take my brother and I. He would let us ride the rides most of the day and then make us sit through tractor pulls.
My favorite fair memory was seeing Billy Ray Cyrus in concert when I was little!
Eating all the food with my girls.
My favorite fair memory is from last year. My brother and I were at the Natural Resources park watching one of the dog shows. We had tickets for the Brad Paisley concerts a few hours from then. It started sprinkling and then in a matter of seconds it was an instant downpour! Everyone scattered and ran for the nearest shelter. We needed to make it to Crew Stadium on the opposite end of the fairgrounds. We made mad dashes from one building to the next. It took us about an hour to finally make the whole way to the stadium. We were drenched! Luckily the rain stopped in time for the show. It took 4 days for my purse to completely dry but it was an awesome memory. In fact my little bro asked if we could do it again this year, lol 🙂
My favorite Ohio State fair momories is riding the big yellow slide and playing the midway games, specifically the ones where you had to pop balloons with a dart and wining mirrors with pictures on it. I worked there one year too, selling Lemon ShakeUps!
