Wantable – Mystery Jewlery Box, Fab Gift Idea!

Wantable Jewelry Box
I have always been an “accessories gal”.  As my daughters fave, Nancy would say- “oo la la accessories are fab!” The right scarf or necklace can make anyone feel “put together”.  And busy moms are especially grateful for this quick fashion trick.  Accessories can also be a frugal way to update your wardrobe to fall in line with the new trends.  A good classic white shirt it always in style- make it current with the latest bubble neckless or chandler earring.

So needless to say, when the peeps at Wantable asked me to check out their jewelry boxes I said “mais, oui!”.  Wantable sends you hand-selected boxes (jewelry or cosmetics) that perfectly match your personal style. Each box contains a $80-$100 value of top-quality items based on your personal style profile. All of their boxes are curated by professional artists and stylists.  Here’s how it works

  1. Choose a category and answer a few questions so they can match you with the perfect products.
  2. Subscribe for $36 a month or buy a single box for $40. Subscriptions are shipped automatically each month and can be skipped or canceled anytime.
  3. Each box is packed with full-size products hand-picked from unique, specialty, and premium brands to perfectly fit your style.

I chose the jewelry category and answered the “style” questions (for me personally staying away from the “rock and skulls” items). When my box arrived I was so excited to see the treasures inside. My box contained: 2 pairs of earrings, a necklace and earrings set and a bracelet. ($40 box= about $10 per piece)

Out of the 4 items I received I LOVE 2 (bracelet and necklace), like 1 and will be finding a new home for the 4th (and I actually know someone who will love them!).  But that’s the fun of Wantable- the mystery factor!  In fact, I think one of these boxes would make a really fun gift, the ultimate surprise!

I have only had the jewlery about a week and have worn several of the pieces- getting compliments on them each time.  I kind of am obsessed with the peach necklace (I wore it today on NBC4!).   The bee on it is perfect for spring.  And this is one case where I might have to find a shirt/dress to go with the necklace (will be shopping online consignment for a fab whole outfit look).

What do you think of Wantable?  Would you risk buying a box- for the reward of chic results!?

Note: I was given a Wantable box to review for this post.  But all the opinions (and how much I love that peach piece) are all my own.

These subscription boxes are becoming more and more common. I hadn’t heard of this company but I will definitely have to check them out!

That’s what I was thinking at first too. But, if you opt for the one time box at $40. That’s like paying only $10ish each piece. If I look at it that way, it definitely seems more reasonable. Plus, one of the pairs of earrings I am going to give as a gift too. I would have paid around $10 for them to give… so it all works out.

I might have been worried about what type of jewelry would have come from a mystery box but those things you received are really cute. My daughters would love that! Thanks.

I love great deals! BUT…I want to know what I am getting. I am not a gambling gal, especially when it comes to money. I am sorta cheap! :)

I am a LITTLE more in favor of them after reading your review! :) (…even if I am cheap.)
