When we first got married, I received a small Bisquick recipes magazine at a bridal shower. The pages were filled with comfort food faves and good “beginner” recipes for this new wife. To this day, hubs still loves one of those recipes. Of course I had to tweak it a bit (he likes a little more topping to cake ratio). So below you will find my modified, yet easy, Streusel Coffee Cake recipe. Let me know if you like it as is- or make modification of your own.
And as you can see from the pics… This is the recipe that I first discovered my kitchen hack for cutting in butter. That cheese grater really does make it easier to “cut in” the butter for the streusel topping.
